We are looking for an experienced assembly technician, who is interested in assembling, assembling and testing complex liquid and gas systems.

Convergence started in 2010 as a spin-off from the University of Twente. Since then, Convergence has specialised in making customer specific measurement and control systems for liquids and gases. Our focus is known in the market specifically in the field of membrane test systems and gas mixing systems. Our systems are delivered to our international customer base consisting of prestigious universities, corporate innovation labs, life science and biopharma companies. 

The company became part of the Demcon group in the summer of 2022 and with that the name was changed to Demcon convergence. Together with the Demcon group, we will further expand and professionalise the company. 

In June 2024, we moved into a new building with modern workshop on the Institutenweg in Enschede. As a result, we are now together with all the other Demcon companies on the knowledge park and can work well together, where necessary.

As an assembly technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex liquid and gas systems. Building and testing and a system usually takes about five weeks. We offer the opportunity to work on serial builds or truly customised systems or a mix in between. We will coordinate with you where you are best in your strengths.

Do you have experience as a main mechanic or foreman? Then we would also like to invite you to respond!

We work in day shift.

• You have an affinity with technology and a passion for the job; 
• You can speak and write in the Dutch language; 
• You have completed your education at least mbo/bachelor level in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, installation technology, car technology, etc.; 
• Specific experience in the field of fluid and gas technology such as working with tubing, Swagelok products and flow meters is an important plus; 
• Ability to solve minor problems yourself during construction; 
• Experience with vacuum technology is an advantage.
