For Demcon production, we are looking for an experienced assembly engineer. We produce high-quality modules and/or systems mainly for medical and high-tech markets. Would you like to work on improving new series products, including the corresponding assembly processes? Then quickly read on! 

As an assembly engineer, you prepare the putting into production of new (series) products. You will assess the assembly capability of new designs including work instructions and aim for optimal productivity. In addition, you support the process engineer in optimising existing production processes, whereby production costs, reliability and product quality are important points of attention. Within the projects, you work in multidisciplinary NPI teams and closely cooperate with the engineers of the design house.

Demcon production is a partner in pre-production and (series) production of complex systems and innovative products. 

• Assembly, testing and evaluation of prototype products/systems;
• Participate in improving both product and process;
• Being actively involved in improving process descriptions, work and test instructions;
• Training assembly and test staff;
• Ensuring set quality requirements according to the requested standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 45001).

• A completed MBO-4 course in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering;

• Several years (5+) experience in assembling complex mechatronic products (high mix, low volume);
• You are able to comprehend complex mechatronic designs;
• Experience with industrialisation (DfM/DfA) of mechatronic products is a plus;
• Experience using 3D packages such as SolidWorks is a plus;
• You are a team player, involved, proactive and a spider in the web;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
