Within the Demcon Group, Demcon Production is a contract manufacturer for pre-production and(mass) production of high-tech products and complex mechatronic systems. The Logistics Team Lead is a member of the Logistics Department. This department within Demcon Production is responsible for all incoming and outgoing material flows (inbound and outbound), incoming inspection, inventory management, internal logistics, and line supply.  The Logistics Team Lead manages these activities with a team of 5–10 employees. In addition, your team is responsible for the logistics of other companies within the Manufacturing & Assembly cluster, specifically Demcon Metal Injection Molding (DMIM).

• You are responsible for the day-to-day management and the continued development of the logistics organization.
• You lead a team of logistics staff and incoming inspection staff, ensuring that materials are available for our assembly lines at the right time, in the right place, and of the right quality. In doing so, you play a crucial role in ensuring a reliable and efficient production process.
• You combine operational leadership with a keen eye for the future. In this way, you ensure optimal staffing and capacity while simultaneously working on the development of your team.In day-to-day operations, you monitor the quality, reliability, and efficiency of all logistics processes. You oversee warehouse management, material flows, inventory levels, and quality control of incoming goods. Thanks to your structured approach, logistics processes and the associated ERP administration run on time and without errors. When bottlenecks arise, you proactively address them and focus on results using relevant KPIs.
• You’ll work closely with colleagues from departments such as procurement, production, and quality to ensure that processes align seamlessly. In addition, you’ll take the initiative on improvement projects and actively contribute to the further professionalization of logistics processes, systems, and material flows. Drawing on your insights and experience, you’ll also advise on the design of the supply chain and help prepare the logistics organization for further growth.
