QA/RA engineer at Demcon is a challenging position with very diverse work. You will work closely with all disciplines within Demcon, but also have contact with external parties. We are looking for someone with experience in the field of quality assurance, standards and regulations and certification of products within the high-tech systems industry or industrial machines.

What are you going to do?
As a QA/RA engineer you will be part of the quality engineering team at Demcon in Best. The QA/RA engineer is an integral part of the multidisciplinary project team. Within this team you will be the point of contact in the field of safety and legal regulations for high-tech products. Typical project activities are:

Work with the project manager and the lead systems engineer to define what documentation is applicable for the project and how to adhere to the quality management system (QMS) within the projects.

Lead sessions for product safety and reliability (Failure Mode Analysis).

support the engineers, project management and the customer with solutions to minimize safety risks.

Determine what standards and regulations apply and coordinate these matters within the team.

Stay updated of the latest developments and insights related to standards and regulations and support the translation to the design requirements.

Put the technical file in order for certification.
Ad-interim also the activities of the QA/RA manager will be applicable:

Assess product quality in running projects and advice how to improve this, if needed translate these improvements in process improvements

Deploy the QMS/procedures/templates and pro-actively check if these are being used correctly.

Prepare and guide external audits; facilitate and execute internal audits.

Follow-up of actions and KPI’s that were defined in the management review.

Facilitate and manage CAPA’s (Corrective and Preventative Actions)
What do you bring to the table?
-
You have a bachelor’s/master’s degree in a technical direction.
-
At least 3 years of experience in Quality/Regulatory Assurance in the high-tech field
-
You switch and read quickly and easily in standards (eg ISO 9001) and regulations (eg Machine Directive, Good Manufacturing Practices) in ever new (innovative) areas.

You are a team player, you easily make contact, communicate and interact well at various levels with both the project team and the customer.

You are accurate, persuasive but also pragmatic.

You have a “we can do” mentality, which will guide the team to the most effective solution for both the customer and the project team.
