From its role as contract manufacturing, Demcon production is in direct contact with its customers and operates as an independent company within the Demcon group. The ambitions are big where we as Demcon production are continuously working on further professionalising our activities. Within our logistics centre, you will find a great challenge as a logistic technician. With your drive and can do mindset, you will work closely with your colleagues in the logistics centre to keep the material supply in order and improve it.
What are you going to do?
As a logistics technician, you will actively participate in daily operations within the warehouse:
- You receive, check and place incoming goods to the desired location in the warehouse and register it in the ERP system;
- You issue materials to internal customers (series production lines) and ensure timely supply of materials in the series production lines;
- You review in the ERP system which products need to be shipped, taking into account agreements made by carriers, customers and the loading schedule;
- You are able to handle complex issues independently.
In addition, you actively contribute to optimising the logistics processes. This includes improvements and making analyses in case of detected errors:
- You keep track of and analyse logistics data; look for causes and bottlenecks;
- You make improvement proposals for the warehouse;
- You assist from the warehouse in the start-up of NPI projects;
- You are first-line contact within the warehouse;
- You are service-oriented within the organisation.
What do you bring to the table?
- You have a mbo-3/4 working and thinking level, in the direction of logistics;
- You are in possession of a forklift or reach truck certificate;
- You have a proactive attitude;
- You have experience in working with an ERP-system;
- You have excellent communication skills in the Dutch language, both in speaking and writing.
