About Demcon

Each one of our companies differentiates itself in its own domain with unique expertise and skills. This way they help customers improve their performance and achieve more. On the basis of their passion for technology our companies are able to combine forces. By sharing knowledge and working together we increase our social impact.

Demcon high-tech systems is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization, in the field of high-tech systems.

What are you going to do?

Within Demcon as an electrical engineer you will be engaged in the electrical design of systems where power generation, distribution and transmission are a component. Using custom or commercially available hardware and (custom) interconnection this forms a total solution for our customers.

In a multidisciplinary team as electrical engineer you will work on the control circuit design, work with the software team on the control algorithm and work with the mechanical team on the considerations for electrical distances, electromagnetic interference and thermal dissipation of the enclosure.

In the process, you will come up with a concept, work on its elaboration and support prototyping. Naturally, your choices will include the final product and possible further integration with electronics. During the realization phase you are responsible for supervising the assembly, testing and finally the commissioning and verification of the system.

Due to the close cooperation with other (technical) disciplines, good communication between them is necessary. Thanks to our broad experience, we in the department are able to think along with each other and move with the other disciplines. By thinking with each other, together we achieve a good quality system.

What do you bring to the table?

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar;
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in power electronics;
  • Experience with selection, application and integration of components for power electronics;
  • Familiar with electromagnetic compliance (EMC), electromagnetic immunity (EMI);
  • Experience with design for standards (CE/UL) is a plus;
  • A broad technical interest, proactive attitude, result-oriented and meticulous.

What do we offer you?

At Demcon we value a nice workplace. For example, we have good coffee and there is free fresh fruit waiting for you every week. There is also a lot of personal attention and we discourage overtime because we know how important home is.

Furthermore, you can count on, among other things:
