From our role as contract manufacturer (service provider), Demcon production is in direct contact with our customers and operates as an independent company within the Demcon group. Our ambitions are high where we, as Demcon production, want to take the next step in the further professionalisation of our activities.  

You are part of the supply chain team within Demcon production. The team consists of customer support, master/production planning, purchasing, supply chain engineering and warehousing/shipping.

What are you going to do?

As a customer support specialist, you are responsible for serving your customer portfolio in the best possible way. Your mission is to help our clients realise their goals through our products and services. You are an important link in the realisation of our deliveries and services to our customers at both tactical and operational level. You know the customer’s business and translate every challenge into a positive customer experience, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction and preventing escalations.  

In this position, you are the one who proactively monitors the operational performance of a fixed customer portfolio. This includes logistical and qualitative KPI’s of deliveries and service, but also the forecast and contractual agreements. 

In addition, your focus is on following up customer orders. This involves handling requests from our customers for products and services, taking into account the contractual agreements made. Your tasks also include driving the shipping process, including taking care of the corresponding documentation. 

In this role, you form an extremely important link between customer, programme management, master planning and warehouse. You are the single point of contact for our customers.

Together with the team, we ensure the correct distribution of work, so that we can serve the entire customer portfolio in the best possible way.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Bachelor’s working and thinking level and a completed commercial economic education; 
  • Training/courses in the direction of commercial (such as NIMA-A) is an advantage;
  • Several years of working experience in a commercial environment;
  • Good communication skills, good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
  • Creative and good at collaborating, both internally and externally;
  • Empathetic and great adaptability;
  • Structured, process-oriented and able to prioritise;
  • Personal leadership and the ambition to exceed customer expectations.
