What are you going to do?
As a business developer you are responsible for increasing and sustaining Demon’s market share in algorithm development (including machine learning and AI) as a service for product development and our synthetic data products. Your focus will be on the field of Life Sciences and Health.
Your challenge will be to facilitate the growth of our young company by identifying and monetizing market opportunities and by executing strategic account management. You will do this as a member of our commercial team and by participating in the Demcon wide sales activities.
You have a proven ability to identify opportunities with existing and new customers and develop these opportunities to long-term relationships. Together with the project manager and technical lead you can transform a broad and incomplete customer request into a tangible and reliable project proposal. Your key characteristics include entrepreneurship and flexibility as well as the ability to understand the technical and strategic challenges at hand. Moreover, you have and express a clear product vision, and the ability to clearly communicate to both technical and commercial stakeholders.

What do you bring to the table?
- Experience in software/algorithm development related sales: either outsourcing product development projects and/or secondment for relevant roles in such projects;
- Experience with both SME and large enterprise customers;
- A relevant network in the field of Life Sciences & Health (for example cardiovascular, critical care systems, home treatments and wearables, diagnostic imaging, interventional systems, in-vitro diagnostics, radiation oncology or regenerative medicine);
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in an organization focusing on technology development and a master or PHD related to software or algoritm development;
- Willing to travel (internationally).
