Demcon unmanned systems is a developer and producer of unmanned systems for applications on land, at sea and in the air.

In this role, you will work on the software development (C++, CMake and Qt) for the unmanned craft and autonomous navigation technologies. Your focus will include data communication, internet and network security issues. In this, you take initiative and are creative, know how to tackle challenging problems and love developing new functionalities. You keep an overview, have an eye for quality and help team members with development. You participate in the entire process of software development from design, simulation to implementation and maintenance for existing vessels and systems. Relevant projects include setting up networking protocols and their architecture. Securing existing systems (cybersecurity) and also setting up a VPN. We work in a Linux environment but with Windows compatibility.

No requirement but bonus projects include: scripting in shell& bash, setting up severs and maintaining them, managing the infrastructure (CI/CD)

• A completed technical college/university education, e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar;
• At least 5 years' work experience in software development, preferably within different projects;
• Enthusiasm, you are interested in the latest developments in the field of unmanned and autonomous systems;
• Coding skills, you are able to set up code and system testing.
• Experience in C++ and Linux;
