Je helpt binnen projecten met het bouwen van enkelstuks machines, kleine-series en meet- of testopstellingen. Je denkt vroeg mee in het ontwerp – vooral richting maakbaarheid en assemblage – en draagt verbeteringen aan waar nodig. Je werkt zelfstandig en weet met minimale instructies tot een werkend product te komen. Daarbij krijg je veel vrijheid om jouw vakmanschap en initiatief te laten zien.

Je bent technisch breed onderlegd: van precisie mechanica tot elektro. Assemblage op basis van CAD, tekeningen of schema’s gaat je soepel af – ook in cleanroomomgevingen. Je past onderdelen aan via conventioneel draaien, frezen of 3D-printen en denkt actief mee over prototypes en tooling. Jij bent benaderbaar, oplossingsgericht en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werkplek en eindproduct.

Within projects, you will help build single-piece machines, small series and measuring or test set-ups. You think along with the design early on - especially towards manufacturability and assembly - and suggest improvements where necessary. You work independently and know how to achieve a working product with minimal instructions. You are given a lot of freedom to show your craftsmanship and initiative.

You have a broad technical background: from precision mechanics to electrical engineering. Assembly on the basis of CAD, drawings or diagrams goes smoothly for you - even in clean-room environments. You adapt parts via conventional turning, milling or 3D printing and actively think about prototypes and tooling. You are approachable, solution-oriented and take responsibility for your workplace and end product.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, with a background in mechanical, mechatronics or electrical engineering
• At least 5 years' experience as a prototype engineer in a similar high-tech environment
• Knowledge of turning, milling and 3D printing is an advantage
