As Software Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and improving the software of multiple systems and production tools. You ensure smooth operation and continuous updates, keeping systems secure and meeting evolving customer needs. You work in close collaboration with customers, service engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to diagnose and resolve software issues, implement updates, and optimize system performance. Your structured approach allows you to identify long-term solutions while handling urgent matters pragmatically.

Thanks to your analytical and problem-solving skills, you play a key role in diagnosing issues, implementing updates, and maintaining software quality. You work closely with the service engineers, supporting complex technical challenges both remotely and on-site in our cleanroom or at customer locations in the Netherlands, Western Europe, and occasionally in the US or Asia. You document software changes, maintain the development environment, and help improve our software maintenance processes. You also proactively identify structural issues and work on long-term improvements.

You are constantly looking for ways to improve reliability and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You contribute to the growth of our software maintenance competence and enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues inside and outside your field.

• A completed bachelor or university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer , preferably in complex mechatronic systems;
• Proficiency in programming languages C++ and Python.
