Dutch United Instruments develops high-quality metrology systems to measure optics at the nanometer level. We are a technology leader in our market and love the challenge of staying ahead of the curve and developing and delivering the most advanced optical metrology systems. We operate in a niche market and supply relatively small series of high-quality metrology measuring systems. Due to growth and professionalization, we are looking for colleagues.
What are you going to do?
- Respond to inquiries and requests and assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving issues from our customers (worldwide)
- Analysis of measurement results using DUI software;
- Analysis of diagnostic data recorded on the machine;
- Communication with customers on identification and clarification of their requests as well as eventual feedback of solutions
- Detailed documentation of customer inquiries and requests and procedures taken to resolve them, using Topdesk (service call logging platform used at DUI)
- Onsite service (ad hoc and planned maintenance) of the DUI machines at customer site
- Perform sample measurements and demo measurements on NMF machines, analyze and report the results to the potential customers
- Testing new NMF OS with new features and roll out to all machines in the field
- Maintaining and updating user software manuals, service procedures, training materials and other documentation (FAQ eg.) for the DUI knowledge base
What do you bring to the table?
- Bachelor or above in technical studies
- Ability to tackle technically challenging issues by coming up with pragmatic and smart solutions
- Proactive, communicative, outgoing, friendly and a good team player
- Proficiency in English with professional written and interpersonal skills
- Time-management skills: efficiency, sense of urgency and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize and manage multiple issues at the same time
- Willing to work at irregular hours (starting early or finishing later) when needed (Not very frequently but occasionally needed)
- Willing to travel (a few times per year expected) and culture awareness in dealing with customers worldwide
