As a Market Analysis intern you get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting market research within the maritime technology sector and analyzing market trends.

Demcon Unmanned Systems (DUS) develops and produces high-tech electric unmanned autonomous vessels (USVs) for inspection, monitoring and maintenance applications in inland waters, coastal and offshore environments. We provide innovative solutions for various sectors, such as defense, security, industry and the maritime world. Aspects you come into contact with:

• Conducting market research within the autonomous survey vessel industry to gain insight into the current market situation and competitive analysis.
• Carrying out an analysis of network organizations within the maritime survey and offshore industries and the opportunities they offer.
• Collecting and analyzing data regarding market trends, customer behavior and potential growth opportunities within this market, nationally and internationally.
• Report findings and present recommendations to the management team.

With the work carried out it is possible to produce a full-fledged internship/graduation report. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and you will receive an appropriate internship allowance in return.

Indicate field(s) of study

• You are following a relevant HBO or WO course, for example in Marketing, Business Administration or commercial economics.
• You have an analytical mind and strong research and problem-solving skills.
• You have good communication skills and are able to report and present clearly.
• You are independent, proactive and can work well in a team.
• Affinity with technology and the maritime sector is an advantage.
