As a Lead Systems Engineer inside, you know how a medical product is developed, you are the right hand of the project manager from various angles from engineering and you give direction to the business from your technical expertise.

What are you going to do?

Your technical insight, experience and problem-solving skills give our client(s) confidence. You are technically responsible for systems engineering within a project. For eample you’re technically responsible for requirements management, system design, architecture, system implementation, integration, verification and validation. You make technical decisions, provide risk lists, among other things as input for the project plan. In the teams, you fulfill a leading, inspiring and coaching role. As a multidisciplinary leader of teams in different phases, you ensure the best solution for the customer. In doing so, you have a high degree of independence and freedom in organising your work. You work closely with the project manager and lead engineers to monitor quality, scope, time, budget. 
You are expected to shape projects and show entrepreneurship. The high diversity of (international) customers and your involvement in the various phases of the entire product development make your day enormously challenging and diverse.

What do you bring to the table?

  • A master degree in for example Biomedical engineering, Mechatronics or other relevant studies;
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a System engineer in a R&D organisation;
  • Good knowledge of system design and development skills;
  • Experience in translating customer needs into smart requirements.
