DEMCON is active in two markets, those for High-tech Systems and Medical Systems. For our customers in these markets, we work on the most diverse, but always high-quality solutions. In our multidisciplinary teams of engineers, we work on various projects such as a 3D glass printer, qualification tool, or a portable blood pressure monitor.

About Demcon

Each one of our companies differentiates itself in its own domain with unique expertise and skills. This way they help customers improve their performance and achieve more. On the basis of their passion for technology our companies are able to combine forces. By sharing knowledge and working together we increase our social impact. Demcon high tech systems is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization.

What are you going to do?

Within DEMCON, as an Electrical Engineer you will be involved in the design of custom-made controls, power distribution and IO interfaces for sensors and actuators. Together with industrially available hardware and custom interconnection, this forms a total solution for our customers. For this, we have expertise in motion, data acquisition, sensor technology, machine and product safety and connectivity (custom-made cable solutions) and applications suitable for vacuum and clean rooms.

As a junior electrical Engineer, you develop a concept, work on its elaboration and assist in prototyping. Naturally, your choices will include the end product and further integration with electronics. During the realisation phase, you are responsible for supervising assembly, testing and finally commissioning and verifying the system.

The close cooperation with other (technical) disciplines requires good mutual communication. Partly due to our broad experience, we in the department can think along with each other and put ourselves in the other disciplines’ shoes. By thinking along with each other, together we achieve a high-quality system for our customers.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Completed HBO education in electrical engineering or similar

  • Approximately two years of relevant work experience

  • Experience with E-plan is an advantage

What do we offer you?

At Demcon we value a nice workplace. For example, we have good coffee and there is free fresh fruit waiting for you every week. There is also a lot of personal attention and we discourage overtime because we know how important home is.

Furthermore, you can count on, among other things:

  • A good, market-based salary;

  • 31 days off and 8% vacation allowance;

  • A good pension plan at Zwitserleven;

  • The opportunity to follow training and courses through the Demcon Academy so you can further develop your knowledge;

  • A laptop and telephone from work;

  • Bicycle plan;

  • Active personnel association (monthly activities such as drinks and an annual Demcon weekend) and annual sporting events.
